  1. Ingredients :Serves 4

  2. 75 g 1 liter

  3. 5 tablespoons Green lentils, picked through for grit

  4. Water

  5. Raw sugar

  1. Washed thoroughly the green lentils andsoaked overnight in cool water. Drained.

  2. Place the drained lentils in a pot with 1liter of water.

  3. Bring to a full boil.

  4. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir insugar.

  5. Simmer another 45 minutes or until beansare broken and soft.

  6. Taste the soup and adjust if necessary,then turn off heat and transfer to soup tureen.

  7. Ladle directly into individual bowls andserve.
