Coconut Patties

3 c Sugar

1/4 c Sweetened condensed milk

1/2 c Water

2 c Coconut

1 1/2 ts Vanilla

1/2 c Chopped nuts

1 tb Butter or butter substitute

3 tb Cocoa

Combine sugar and cocoa. Add milk and water. Boil to

soft ball stage (234

238 F). Cool to room

temperature. Add coconut and nuts. Add butter and flavoring. Beat until mixture begins to thicken. Drop
