  1. 36 ea Kraft caramels

  2. 1/4c Water

  3. 1/4c Margarine

  4. 3/4c Sugar

  5. 1/4t Salt

  6. 1/2t Vanilla

  7. 3 ea Eggs,beaten

  8. 1 c Pecan halves

  9. 1 ea 9 " unbaked pastry shell

  1. + Directions : Melt caramels with water & margarine in a saucepan over low heat. Stir occasionally until smooth. Combine sugar,salt & eggs. Gradually add caramel sauce;Mix well. Stir in pecan halves & pour into pastry shell. Bake @ 350 degree for 40 minutes. Pie filling will appear soft,but becomes firm as it cools.
