  1. 3 strips MorningStar Farms Veggie Bacon Strips

  2. 1/2 pound broccoli rabe*

  3. 4 cups water

  4. 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

  5. 4 teaspoons olive oil

  6. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  8. 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper

  9. 2 teaspoons lemon juice

  1. Cook Morningstar Farms Veggie Bacon Strips according to package directions. Cool and crumble. Set aside.

  2. Meanwhile, wash broccoli rabe; drain well. Trim ends; discard. Cut broccoli rabe into 2-inch pieces. (You should have about 6 loosely-packed cups.) In large saucepan combine broccoli rabe and water. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 3 minutes. Drain.

  3. In large skillet cook and stir garlic in olive oil over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown. Add broccoli rabe, salt, pepper and red pepper. Cook and stir until heated through. Transfer to serving dish. Drizzle with lemon juice. Sprinkle with Veggie Bacon Strips.

  4. *Note: Broccoli rabe is also called rapini.
