  1. 1 - 14 1/2 ounce can of evaporated milk

  2. 2 eggs

  3. 1 cup of brown sugar

  4. 3 tablespoons of all -purpose flour

  5. 2 tablespoons of butter

  6. 1 unbaked 9 -inch pie shell

  7. Water

  8. Add enough water to the evaporated milk to make 2 cups and beat in the egg s. Combine the

  9. brown sugar and the flour and cut in the butter until the mixture is like coarse crumbs. Add the

  10. milk mixture t o the brown sugar and beat until well blended. Pour into the pastry shell and bake

  11. at 400 degrees until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean (about 30 minutes). Allow to

  12. cool completely.
