  1. Lemon and Poppy Pound Cake

  2. 1 pkg. lemon cake mix

  3. 1 pkg. lemon instant pudding mix (4 servings size)

  4. 1/2 cup Crisco oil

  5. 1 cup water

  6. 4 eggs

  7. 1/4 cup poppy seeds

  8. Blend all ingredients except poppy seeds and beat 2 minutes at

  9. medium speed - do not overmix. Add poppy seeds and blend well.

  10. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan, Bundt pan or 2 loaf pans

  11. 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes until center springs back when

  12. touched lightly. Cool 25 minutes before removing cake from pan.

  13. 1 cup icing sugar with either

  14. 2 tbsp. lemon juice or milk. Drizzle over cake.
