  5. 5 Carrots - scrubbed, sliced

  6. 1/4 cup 40g / 1.4oz Brown sugar

  7. 1 cup 237ml Barley

  8. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Thyme

  9. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Garlic powder

  10. 2 Bay leaves

  11. 1 teaspoon 5ml Freshly-ground black pepper

  12. 1/2 cup 118ml Red wine

  13. 1 can V-

  14. 8® vegetable juice

  15. 2 cups 474ml Water

  1. Recipe Instructions Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook for 4 to 6 hours on HIGH heat or for 8 to 10 hours on LOW heat. Remove bay leaves before serving.
