  1. 1 1/2 c Flour

  2. 1/3 c Sugar

  3. 4 1/2 c Blueberries

  4. FILLING

  5. 3/4 c Heavy cream

  6. 6 tb Unsalted butter

  7. 2 1/4 ts Baking soda

  8. 1 1/2 tb Sugar

  9. 1/2 ts Salt

  10. 1 tb Flour

  1. DOUGH For the Dough: Sift the dry ingredients together, then cut the butter into the mixture.

  2. Add the heavy cream, but do not overmix.

  3. For the Filling: Toss all the filling ingredients together so they are well mixed.

  4. Place the berry mixture in a buttered and sugared baking dish.

  5. Roll the dough out to cover the dish and place over the fruit.

  6. Bake in a preheated 375 F oven for 35 to 40 minutes.

  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.

  8. Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream, according to taste.
