  1. 1 head red left lettuce

  2. 1 head bib lettuce

  3. (or bag of mixed greens)

  4. 2 red delicious apple s

  5. 1 c red onion thinly sliced

  6. 3/4 c Glazed Pecan s (see below)

  7. 3/4 c blue cheese crumbled Dressing

  8. 1/2 c walnut or vegetable oil

  9. 1/4 cider vinegar

  10. 2 T shallot s, minced

  11. 2 T lemon juice, freshly squeezed

  12. 1 T maple syrup

  13. 1/4 t salt

  14. 1/4 t pepper Crunchy Glazed Pecans

  15. 1/4 c butter

  16. 1/4 c light corn syrup

  17. 2 T water

  18. 1 t salt

  19. 1 pound pecan s

  1. Crunch Glazed Pecans Preheat over to 250 Line a baking sheet with foil. Combine butter, corn syrup, water i salt in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Add pecans and stir to completely coat nuts. Spread nuts evenly on lined baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes. Cool.

  2. Salad Tear lettuce into bite-sizeed pieces and place in a large salad bowl.

  3. Add apples that are cut into very thin wedges, thinly slice red onion, sprinkle pecans and blue cheese over top of salad. Mix ingredients for dressing and shake in jar until evenly combined. Drizzle dressing over salad, toss gently and serve immediately.
