  1. 2 pkgs. dry yeast

  2. 1/2 c. warm water

  3. 2 1/2 c. buttermilk

  4. 1/2 c. sugar

  5. 1/2 c. cooking oil

  6. 5 c. plain flour

  7. 4 level tsp. baking powder

  8. 1/2 tsp. baking soda

  9. 1 tsp. salt

  1. Sift together 5 cups plain flour, 4 level teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon salt. Add to liquid, one cup at a time. Mix well. Cover with foil; set in refrigerator overnight. Dip out as much as needed. Make into small biscuits and bake. (You do not have to wait for them to rise.)
