  1. 3/4 cup vegetable oil

  2. 1/4 cup red wine vinegar

  3. 1 garlic clove, finely minced

  4. 1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard

  5. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  6. 3/4 teaspoon salt

  7. 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  8. 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  9. 1/4 teaspoon sugar Salad:

  10. 1 (10-ounce) package frozen peas, thawed

  11. 2 celery ribs, thinly sliced

  12. 2 green onions, thinly sliced

  13. 1/2 cup sour cream

  14. 4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

  15. 3/4 cup chopped cashews Lettuce leaves and tomato wedges

  1. For Dressing: Combine the ingredients in a small bowl; mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

  2. For Salad: In a large bowl, combine peas, celery and onions.

  3. Combine sour cream and 2 tablespoons dressing (refrigerate remaining dressing for another use); mix well. Fold into the pea mixture.

  4. Just before serving, stir in bacon and cashews. If desired, serve on a bed of lettuce and garnish with tomato wedges.
