  4. crumbled 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

  5. 3 generous grates nutmeg or 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  6. salt

  7. white pepper

  8. hot cooked pasta

  1. Stir together cream, cheese, thyme, and nutmeg in a large skillet. Cook gently over medium heat until mixture reduces by one-fourth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Toss with pasta to coat well. Serve with extra nutmeg, if desired.
