  1. Moong dhal 1 cup (cooked softly)

  2. Spinach 2cups (chopped finely)

  3. Onion 2 (1 chopped finely)

  4. Tomato 2 (1 chopped finely)

  5. Green Chilli 3 (1 cut lengthwise)

  6. Coconut 1/2 cup (grated)

  7. Ginger 1

  8. Garlic 4 cloves

  9. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

  10. Chilli powder 1 tsp

  11. Ingredients for Paste

  12. 1 Tomato,

  13. 1 Onion,

  14. 2 Green Chilliesand Coconut

  1. Place a pan on fire. Add 2 tbsp of oil.

  2. Add the onion and fry till golden brown.

  3. Add the green chilli & the tomato. Fry for few minutes.

  4. Add the spinach now, cook for few min, then add little water. Cover & cook until soft. Use a big spoon to mash the spinach.

  5. Add the salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder now. Cook for 2 min.

  6. Now add the cooked dhal and the ground paste. Cook until all mix together and the raw smell goes.

  7. Garnish with coriander.
