  2. ARMENIAN RICE

  6. 4 T Butter

  7. 1 c Rice, uncooked

  8. 2 oz Egg noodles, small

  9. 2 c Chicken stock

  10. Basil

  11. Melt butter in large saucepan, add egg noodles and cook until browned. Add

  12. rice, stir to coat with butter. Cook on medium-high heat for 1 minute. Add

  13. chicken stock and optional basil, and stir to mix.

  14. Reduce heat, cover and cook for 25-30 minutes until rice is done. Remove

  15. from heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes before serving.

  16. NOTES:

  17. Rice with noodles in chicken broth. Yield: Serves 2-3.
