  1. 2 c. flour

  2. 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder

  3. 1/2 tsp. salt

  4. 1 c. seedless raisins or chopped dates

  5. 1 c. brown sugar

  6. 1 c. milk

  7. 1 c. coarsely chopped nuts

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar. Mix well, stir in milk, nuts and raisins. Pour batter into greased 5×9 inch loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Turn onto a rack to cool.
