  1. 1 1/2 cups finely chopped nuts

  8. 1 cup sour cream

  10. 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling

  1. Combine finely chopped nuts, 2 tablespoons sugar, and melted butter. Press onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 10 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, combine softened cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and flour; mixing at medium speed with an electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in sour cream and vanilla; pour over the crust.

  3. Bake at 450°F (230°C) for 10 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 250°F (120°C) and continue baking for 1 hour.

  4. Loosen the cake from the rim and cool before removing. Chill.

  5. Top with cherry pie filling just before serving.
