  1. 1 Pinto beans - drained

  2. 1 Black beans - reserve

  3. 4 oz. Liquid

  4. 1 Onion - minced fine (large)

  5. 1/2 cup 118ml Barbecue sauce Cooking oil spray - as needed

  6. 1 tablespoon 15ml Cracked black pepper

  7. 1 tablespoon 15ml Ground ancho pepper

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Cumin powder

  9. 2 tablespoons 30ml Hot sauce

  10. 1 Kosher salt

  1. Recipe Instructions Prepare grill for direct cooking method. Or use your smoker if doing something else in it at the same time. In a small bowl combine beans, reserved liquid, onion, barbecue sauce, hot sauce and spices. Spray a shallow two quart disposable aluminum pan with cooking oil spray. Pour bean mixture into the aluminum pan and place onto grill rack. Cover. Cook for 1 hour, stir beans every 15 minutes.
