  1. 1/4 c Butter or margarine

  2. 1 c Sugar

  3. 2 Eggs

  4. 1 c Sour cream or plain low fat

  5. -ogurt 1/4 c Milk

  6. 2 c All-purpose flour

  7. 1 1/2 ts Baking powder

  8. 1/2 ts Baking soda

  9. 1/2 ts Salt; optional

  10. 1/4 ts Vanilla extract

  11. 1/4 ts Almond extract

  12. 21 oz Cherry pie filling; can

  13. Topping: 1/2 c All-purpose flour

  14. 1/4 c Brown sugar

  15. 1 ts Cinnamon

  16. 3 ts Butter or margarine

  17. 1/2 c Chopped nutmeats

  18. 13 x 9" baking pan. Spread cherry pie filling over batter. Cover with remaining batter. For topping: combine all ingredients except butter and nuts in a small mixing bowl. Cut in butter. Stir in nuts. Sprinkle topping over batter. Bake

  19. 350 degrees about 45 minutes until cakesprings back when lightly pressed with finger.
