  1. 8 boneless chicken breasts -- split

  2. 2 tsp salt

  3. 1 tsp garlic powder

  4. 1/2 C brown sugar -- firmly packed

  5. 1/4 tsp pepper

  6. 1/2 C melted margarine

  7. 1 C water

  8. cherries -- drained

  9. 1/2 C chili sauce

  10. 2 med onion s -- sliced

  11. 1/2 C raisin s

  12. 1 tbsp worcestshire sauce

  13. 2 cans Bing -- pitted

  1. Place chicken pieces in shallow baking pan. Season with salt, pepper & garlic. Drizzle with melted margarine.

  2. Place under broiler until golden brown.

  3. Combine water, chili sauce, onions, raisins, brown sugar & worcestshire sauce. Mix thoroughly. Pour over chicken.

  4. Cover pan with aluminum foil. Bake at 325F for 1 hour.

  5. Add sherry and cherries the last 15 minutes of cooking.
