  1. 1 cube butter

  2. 8 tablespoons flour

  3. 1 quart half & half

  4. 5 to 6 potato es, diced

  5. 3 ribs celery , chopped

  6. 1 onion chopped

  7. 3 tablespoons brandy salt , pepper, garlic, and season all to taste

  8. 6 slices bacon cooked crisp to crumble

  9. 2 cans whole kernel corn do not drain

  10. 2 cans creamed corn

  11. 2 tablespoons additional butter

  1. Peel and chop potatoes. Put in a 10 quart pot to boil till tender. Drain and set aside. Chop celery and onion and saute in the 2 tablespoons of butter till tender. Then add the cube of butter and melt, add flour stirring quickly your making a white sauce. Mix in milk. Whip till smooth. Soon as it starts to thicken add the canned corns and a little milk if needed. To thin. Add brandy, potatoes and bacon. Add seasonings and adjust to desired taste.
