  2. 2 tbsp. vegetable oil

  3. 2 pounds cubed beef stew meat

  4. 1/2 tsp. salt

  5. 1/2 tsp. pepper

  6. 1 cup chopped onion

  7. 1 tbsp. minced fresh garlic

  8. 24 ounces prepared beef gravy

  9. 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

  10. 1 pound small potatoes, peeled and halved

  11. 1 1/2 cups peeled baby carrots

  12. 2 cups frozen, thawed peas

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the stew meat and brown all over. Transfer the browned stew meat to the crockpot and sprinkle with the salt and pepper. Add the onion, garlic, gravy, Worcestershire, potatoes and carrots to the pot. Cover and cook 4 1/2 hours on HIGH or 9 hours on LOW. Add the peas and cook another 10 minutes. Serve hot.
