  2. 1 can Tomatoes - (14 oz)

  3. 2 tablespoons 30ml Chile powder - or 5 teaspoons 25ml Ground ancho - (pasilla) chile, plus

  4. 1 teaspoon 5ml Cumin - and 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Cinnamon

  5. 1 Garlic clove - crushed

  6. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  7. 1 cup 237ml Black olives Corn Meal Dough

  8. 4 cups 250g / 8.8oz Corn meal

  9. 2 teaspoons 10ml Salt

  10. 8 cups 1896ml Water

  11. 2 Eggs - well beaten

  12. 4 tablespoons 60ml Butter

  1. Recipe Instructions In skillet, saute beef in pan until brown. Add tomatoes, chile powder, garlic, salt and olives. Cook 15 minutes. Grease 9x13" baking dish and line bottom with 1/2 Corn Meal Dough. Add meat mixture and cover with remaining 1/2 Corn Meal Dough. Bake 20 minutes at 325'F. or until browned. CORN MEAL DOUGH: Add corn meal and salt to water in pot. Bring to boil and cook over medium heat until thick, 5-10 minutes. Add eggs and butter. Stir well.
