  1. DIRECTIONS Preheat ove to 400. Boil yams till done. Cut yams length wise and put into pan of your choice. Add 1 stick butter, 1 cup of sugar and 10 drop of lemon extract. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Place 1/2 cup of water in corner of pan. Cover pan with foil. Bake in oven. Remove foil when syrup base forms. When done smash mixture togethere. Set aside to cool. Take pie crust cut into fourts. Fill each part with mixture. Fold pie crust over mixture like pocket. Bake on wax paper for 45 minutes or until golden brown. In kettle mix 1 stick butter, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, 10 drops lemon extract, 3/4 cup water and 1 1/4 cup sugar. Bring to boil until syrup is thick. Drizzle of blanket and enjoy.
