  1. 3 pounds country-style ribs

  2. 1 12-oz. bottle chili sauce

  3. 1/2 cup chopped onion

  4. 1/3 cup honey

  5. 1/4 cup butter or margarine

  6. 1 clove garlic, minced

  7. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  8. 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

  9. 1/4 teaspoon grated orange rind

  1. Roast ribs, covered with tin foil in roasting pan, in oven at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Combine all ingredients but the orange rind in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir in orange rind. Set aside. Take the foil off the ribs and drain off meat drippings. Brush the sauce on the ribs and roast for 30 more minutes. Repeat this process one more time or until the meat is very tender.

  2. Yields: 6 servings.
