  1. 3 cups flour, all-purpose , spooned cup

  2. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  3. 1 teaspoon salt

  4. 1 1/2 cups corn oil

  5. 2 cups sugar

  6. 3 large eggs large, room temperature

  7. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  8. 1 1/4 cups pecans medium-fine chopped

  9. 2 cups apples pared, finely chopped

  10. Brown sugar topping

  11. 1/2 cup butter or margarine

  12. 1/2 cup brown sugar, light firmly packed

  13. 2 teaspoons milk

  1. Sift flour, soda and salt onto a platter or waxed paper.

  2. In a large bowl beat oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla at medium speed of electric mixer for 3 or 4 minutes until well blended.

  3. Gradually add flour mixture; beat until smooth.

  4. Fold in pecans and apples. Pour batter into a greased and floured bundt pan.

  5. Bake in a preheated 325 degree F oven about 1 hour and 20 minutes or until cake tests done.

  6. Cool on wire rack 20 minutes. Topping:

  7. Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat; cook 2 minutes, stirring.
