  1. 2 cups Unsweetened apple juice

  2. cup Brown sugar

  3. 2 tablespoons Cornstarch

  4. teaspoon Salt

  5. teaspoon Nutmeg

  6. 1 1/2 tablespoon Lime juice

  1. Makes 2 cups. Serves 8-10 as a topping for pancakes. Also great as a topping for cottage cheese or frozen yogurt.

  2. Combine apple juice, brown sugar, cornstarch, salt and nutmeg in saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook, stirring occasionally, 3-5 min or until thickened. Stir in lime juice (optional).
