  1. 1 pound ground beef

  2. 2 bouillon cubes

  3. 1 can carrots, juice and all

  4. 1 can sliced potatoes, juice and all

  5. 2 onions, chopped

  6. salt and pepper to taste

  7. 2 quart casserole dish. Stir in salt and pepper. Add biscuts to top of casserole. Bake at

  8. 425 F for 12 to 15 minutes.

  9. Baking Powder Biscuits:

  10. 2 cups flour

  11. 3 tsps. baking powder

  12. 1 tsp. salt

  13. 5 Tblsps. margarine or shortening

  14. 3/4 cup milk

  15. 2 knives cut margarine or shortening into flour mixture until resembles course cornmeal. Add milk all at once; mix until dough leaves side of bowl. Dough will be soft. Turn dough onto a lightly floured, clean counter; knead (fold over and over) about 20 times until dough is smooth. Shape into a ball. Pat or roll lightly until

  16. 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. Cut out biscuits with floured cutter, jar, or glass. Place on top of casserole. You can also use a biscuit mix.
