  1. 3 tbsp. butter

  2. 1/2 tsp. salt

  3. 1 tsp. ground cinnamon

  4. 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

  5. dash Tabasco sauce

  6. 2 cups pecan halves

  7. 1 1/2 cups candy corn

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in salt, cinnamon, cayenne and Tabasco. Place the pecans in a large bowl. Drizzle the butter mixture over and toss well to coat. Spread the coated pecans in a single layer on a large sheet pan. Bake about 15 minutes until pecans are crisp. Cool pecans to lukewarm. Stir in candy corn. Cool completely. Store, covered, in an airtight container.
