  1. 1/2 pounds Butter

  2. 1 cup Sugar

  3. 4 Eggs; separated

  4. 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

  5. 1 teaspoon Vanilla

  6. 1 cup Chopped almonds

  7. 2 cups Cream of wheat

  8. teaspoon Salt

  9. 2 cups Sugar

  10. 2 cups Water

  11. 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

  3. Cream butter and sugar in electric beater for 15 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, foldin in stiffly beaten egg whites last. Pour into 9x13 greased pan.

  4. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cut in squares. Top with warm syrup before it cools. Cover and let stand until syrup is absorbed. Makes 35 squares.
