  2. CHOCOLATE-CINNAMON DESSERT NACHOS

  6. 2 T Sugar -- granulated - and 1/2 c Sugar -- granulated

  7. 1/2 t Cinnamon

  8. 5 T Butter

  9. Flour - 8 1

  10. 1/3 c Sugar -- brown - packed

  11. 1 t Vanilla

  12. 1 oz Chocolate -- unsweetened

  13. - coarsely chopped 1/2 c Pecans - coarsely chopped

  14. 350F. In small bowl, mix together

  15. 2 Tbsp granulated sugar

  16. and cinnamon. Melt 4 Tbsp butter. Brush melted butter on both sides of

  17. tortillas. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar on 1 side. Stack tortillas on top of

  18. 10 to 12 wedges.

  19. Place tortilla wedges. Place tortilla wedges, sugared sides up, in a

  20. single layer on buttered baking sheets.

  21. 12 to 14 minutes or till tortilla wedges are crisp and golden brown.

  22. Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, combine cream, remaining 1/2 cup

  23. granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Heat to boiling over medium heat,

  24. stirring often. Boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, till slightly

  25. thickened. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Transfer half of mixture to

  26. a bowl. Add chocolate and stir till melted. To remaining mixture, stir in

  27. remaining 1 Tbsp butter. Let both sauces cool to lukewarm.

  28. To assemble nachos, scatter tortilla pieces in single layer over a large

  29. serving platter. Drizzle some chocolate sauce and caramel sauce over

  30. tortilla and sprinkle about 3 Tbsp nuts on top. Repeat layer until all

  31. ingredients are used. Serve immediately. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
