  1. for Summer Pasta Salad

  2. 8 ounces cooked and cooled macaroni

  3. 1 small onion

  4. 2 stalks celery

  5. 1 carrot

  6. 1 hard-boiled egg

  7. 1 cup mayonnaise

  8. 2 tbs sweet pickle relish

  9. 1/2 tsp dry mustard

  10. 1/4 tsp salt

  11. 1/3 tsp pepper

  1. Place pasta in a large serving bowl and set aside.

  2. Chop the vegetables until thin and shred the carrots.

  3. Stir in the vegetables and chopped eggs until well-blended.

  4. In a separate bowl, stir together the mayo, relish, mustard, salt, and pepper.

  5. Spoon the mayo mixture over the pasta and stir together or toss until pasta is coated.

  6. Chill for two hours in the refrigerator and serve.
