  1. 3/4 cup butter, cubed

  2. 1-1/2 cups packed light brown sugar

  4. 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  5. 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  6. 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  7. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  8. 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  9. 1/2 cup dried cranberries

  10. 6 ounces white baking chocolate, coarsely chopped

  11. FROSTING:

  12. 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

  13. 1 cup confectioners' sugar

  14. 1 tablespoon grated orange peel, optional

  15. 6 ounces white baking chocolate, melted

  16. 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped

  18. In microwave-safe bowl, melt butter; stir in brown sugar. Transfer to a large bowl; cool to room temperature. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; gradually add to butter mixture. Stir in cranberries and chopped chocolate (batter will be thick).

  20. 350 for 18-21 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean (do not overbake). Cool on a wire rack.

  21. For frosting, in a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and orange peel if desired until blended. Gradually add half of the melted chocolate; beat until blended. Frost brownies. Sprinkle with cranberries. Drizzle with remaining melted chocolate. Cut into bars. Store in the refrigerator. Yield: 2-1/2 dozen.

  1. In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour and pecans; set aside. Combine butter and eggs. Stir into brown sugar mixture.

  2. Fill greased and floured miniature muffin cups two-thirds full. Bake at 350° for 22-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Immediately remove from pans to wire racks to cool. Yield: about 2-1/2 dozen.

  3. Check after baking 10 minutes, mine are usually 12 minutes. Grease and flour the pans well and take out as soon as they come out of the oven, as they cool they start sticking.
