  1. 6 Apples - sliced thin

  2. 2 tablespoons 30ml Lemon juice

  3. 1/3 cup 65g / 2 1/3oz Sugar

  4. 1 teaspoon 5ml Cinnamon

  5. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Ginger

  6. 4 cups 948ml Sponge cake - in small cubes

  7. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Margarine - melted

  1. Recipe Instructions Mix apples with lemon juice, sugar and spices. Toss cake cubes with margarine. Put 1/3 of cake in greased 8"x12" dish, top with half of apples. Repeat. Top with remaining cubes. Cover and bake 30 minutes. at 375F. Uncover and bake 30 Minutes. more.
