  2. 3/4 cup butter

  3. 3/4 cup sugar

  4. 3 eggs

  5. 1/3 cup brown gravy sauce

  6. 2 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour

  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

  8. 2 1/4 teaspoons ground ginger

  9. 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

  10. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  11. 1 1/4 cups dairy sour cream

  12. sweetened whipped cream --

  1. Beat butter and sugar until creamy and fluffy.

  2. Beat in eggs, then brown gravy sauce.

  3. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream; mix well.

  4. Pour batter into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; bake in preheated 350 F. oven 30 to 35 minutes.

  5. Cool. Cut into squares.

  6. Serve with sweetened whipped cream, if desired.
