  1. 1 C milk plus

  2. 3 1/2 C water

  3. 1 C raw rice

  4. 1/3 C split green bean ( Mung Dal ) , roasted in 1/2 tbsp butter ( OPTIONAL )

  5. 1 C jaggery in

  6. 1/4 C water boiled until thread consistency

  7. 1 tbsp nuts and raisins roasted in

  8. 1 tbsp butter

  9. 2 cardamom , crushed

  1. Boil the milk mixed with water .

  2. Add the rice and dhal to it .

  3. Simmer for 10 mins .

  4. Add the nuts , raisins and cardamoms .

  5. Once fully cooked and sticky , mix the syrup in .

  6. Serve piping HOT .
