  3. 1/2 teaspoon(s) Dijon mustard

  4. 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt

  5. 1/2 cup(s) vegetable oil

  6. 1 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil

  1. Make the mayonnaise: In a large bowl, whisk together egg yolk, lemon juice, mustard, and salt. While whisking, add the oil in a very thin continuous stream until all oil is incorporated. Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days.
