    1. 2 pints strawberries, hulled and quartered

    2. 3 cinnamon sticks

    3. º cup dark brown sugar

    4. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

    5. 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

    1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Combine strawberries, cinnamon sticks, brown sugar, butter and balsamic vinegar in baking dish. Bake, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until berries have softened and sauce is slightly reduced, 6-10 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks and serve warm.
