  1. 1 lb beef steak

  2. 1/4 lb bacon , lean

  3. 1/4 lb butter

  4. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  5. 1 teaspoon mace , ground

  6. 1 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  8. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  9. 1 teaspoon nutmeg , ground

  1. Chop the steak and bacon.

  2. Place all ingredients in a bowl 3 Place bowl in large pot with water that comes approximately half way up the sides of the bowl.

  3. Cover with lid and steam for 3 hours.

  4. Mince or blend all ingredients until smooth.

  5. Pour into jars and seal with melted butter or sealing wax.

  6. Store in fridge .
