  1. 1 c Suet, finely chopped

  2. 1 c Sugar

  3. 2 c Bread crumbs, soft

  4. 1 c Flour

  5. 2 ea Egg, well beaten

  6. 1 c Milk

  7. 1/4 c Orange juice

  8. 1 t Cloves

  9. 2 t Cinnamon

  10. 1 t Mace

  11. 1/2 t Salt

  12. 1 t Soda

  13. 1 c Raisins

  14. 1 c Currants

  15. 1/2 c Nuts, chopped

  16. 1/4 c Orange rind, finely chopped

  17. 1/4 c Lemon rind, finely chopped

  18. 1/2 cup of the sifted dry ingredients. Add oraange juice to suet mixture; then add the milk and rest of dry ingredients alternately. Mix thoroughly. Stir in the fruits.
