  1. 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  2. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  3. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  4. 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  5. 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar

  6. 1 3/4 cups (10-oz. pkg.) HERSHEY'S MINI KISSES Semisweet Chocolate

  7. 5 1/2 cups to layer in the jar

  8. Layering Directions:

  9. Combine baking soda, salt and granulated sugar. Add to the jar.

  10. Add brown sugar. Add Mini Kisses. Add flour

  11. MINI KISSES COOKIES

  12. 1. Preheat oven to 375 F.

  13. 2. In a large bowl, cream 1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter or margarine with 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Beat well.

  14. 3. Gradually add cookie mix, stirring until ingredients are well mixed. (Add 1 cup of chopped nuts if you would like.)

  15. 4. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

  16. 5. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly on cookie sheet. Remove from cookie sheet to a wire rack. (Makes about 5 dozen cookies.)
