  1. 3 tbsp. Olive or vegetable oil

  2. 2 lbs. stew meat

  3. 1/2 cup chopped green pepper

  4. 4 to 6 medium quartered potatoes

  5. 1 cup sliced carrots

  6. 1/2 cup chopped celery

  7. 1 large onion, diced

  8. 1/2 tsp. Salt,

  9. 1/2 tsp. Garlic salts,

  10. 1 small can mushrooms

  11. 1 8 oz. can petite diced tomatoes

  12. 3 cups beef broth

  13. 3 tbsp. cornstarch

  14. 1/2 to 1 cup cold water

  1. Sauté onion, pepper and garlic in oil. Add salt, pepper, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, celery, beef broth and mushrooms. Add the stew meat to the crock-pot, cover with mixture. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Mix cornstarch and cold water, add to crock pot to thicken before serving.
