  1. 1 1/2 cups broccoli florets

  2. 1 small onion, chopped

  3. 1 clove of garlic (lehsun)

  4. 1 tsp butter salt to taste For the red pepper sauce

  5. 1 red pepper

  6. 1 tsp cornflour

  7. 1 tsp butter

  8. 1/4 tsp dried mixed herbs a dash of tobasco sauce

  9. 2 tbsp milk or cream salt to taste

  1. Blanch the red pepper. Drain and cool slightly. Puree it with a little water. Add the cornflour and mix well. Combine the pureed mixture with the butter, herbs, Tabasco sauce, milk and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Blanch the broccoli and keep aside. Heat the butter and saute the onion and garlic. Add the blanched broccoli, salt and toss lightly. Place on a serving plate and pour the red pepper sauce on top. Serve hot.
