Shepherd`s Pie Recipe

    1. 1 pound Hamburger, browned and drained

    2. 1/2 onion, chopped

    3. 1 green pepper

    4. 1 can vegetable soup

    5. OR 1 cup mixed vegetables

    6. 1/4 cup water

    7. 2 cups mashed potatoes, prepared, hot

    8. Cheese

    1. Heat top 6 ingredients then put into large casserole dish (I omit the water). Cover with mashed potatoes. Heat in 350 oven until warm through and through.

    2. Before serving, top with sprinkled cheese (I have used instant potatoes and while cooking them, add shredded cheddar cheese) or sliced cheese cut into strips and artfully arranged. Serve HOT !!!

    3. This recipe for Shepherd`s Pie serves/makes 4.
