  1. 2 oz MARGARINE

  2. 8 oz PECAN HALVES

  3. 1/2 t SALT

  4. 350 F. Melt margarine in saucepan. Stir pecans in melted margarien until they are thoroughly coated. Spread pecans on a cookie sheet. Bake

  5. 15 to 20 minutes in

  6. 350 F oven until lightly toasted, stirring once. Remove from oven. Sprinkle lightly with salt. Let cool and serve. Store in airtight container. Yields

  7. 1/2 lb. pecans.
