  1. 2 (1-pound) loaves French bread

  2. 1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese softened

  3. 2/3 cup mayonnaise

  4. 2 tablespoons chopped chives

  5. 8 (1/8-inch-thick) slices fully-cooked ham

  6. 8 (1/8-inch-thick) slices Genoa salami

  7. 8 (1/8-inch-thick) slices pickle and pimiento loaf

  8. 8 (1/8-inch-thick) slices summer sausage

  9. 8 (1/8-inch-thick) slices pepper loaf

  10. 4 cups torn romaine lettuce

  11. 1 medium tomato, chopped and drained

  12. 1/3 cup sliced pimiento-stuffed olives

  13. 2 tablespoons commercial Italian dressing

  1. Cut bread loaves in half crosswise; split each half lengthwise.

  2. Set aside.

  3. Combine next 3 ingredients; mix well.

  4. Spread about 1 tablespoon on inside cut surface of each piece of bread.

  5. Fold the meat slices in half; arrange 2 folded slices of each type of meat on bread bottoms; set aside.

  6. Combine lettuce, tomato, olives, and dressing; toss gently to coat.

  7. Spoon over meat slices; cover with read tops.

  8. Serve immediately
