  1. 1 cup flour

  2. 1/2 cup salt

  3. 2 teaspoons cream of tartar

  4. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  5. 1 cup water

  6. food coloring

  1. Mix first 3 ingredients well.

  2. Add food coloring to the water and oil, and combine with dry ingredients.

  3. Stir over medium heat several minutes until it forms a ball.

  4. Let cool in a bowl.

  5. Knead until smooth.

  6. Stir in an airtight container.
