  1. cup flour

  2. 1/2 tsp salt

  3. 1/2 cup milk

  4. 2 egg s

  5. 1/2 cup water

  6. drippings or butter

  1. Have all ingredients at room temperature. Sift flour and salt. Gradually stir in milk. When smooth add two eggs beaten until fluffy. Add water Beat in blender until batter bubbles which takes about 15 seconds. Make batter about an hour before using. Beat again before baking. Heat muffin tins with a tsp of drippings or butter in each. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Reduce temperature to 350 and bake ten or 15 minutes more.
