  1. 1 cup prune puree or prepared prune butter

  2. 3/4 cup sugar

  3. 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

  4. 3 each egg whites

  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  6. 2 1/4 cup flour

  7. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  8. 1 teaspoon salt

  9. 2 cup chocolate pieces, semi-sweet

  10. 375 degrees. Coat baking sheets with vegetable cooking spray; set aside. In a large bowl, beat prune puree or prune butter, sugars, egg whites and vanilla to blend thoroughly. In a small bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir dry ingredients into prune mixture, mix completely. Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop tablespoonful onto prepared baking sheets; flatten slightly. Bake about 10 minutes until lightly browned around the edges. Remove to racks to cool completely. Makes about 60 cookies.
