  1. 4 slices bacon

  2. 1 onion, chopped

  3. 1 (6-ounce) package shells and white Cheddar macaroni and cheese mix

  4. 3 cups milk

  5. 1 cup frozen baby peas

  6. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  1. In large pot, cook bacon until crisp; drain on paper towels. Drain all but 1 tablespoon bacon drippings from the pot. Cook and stir onion in drippings until crisp-tender, about 4 to 5 minutes. Add macaroni, cheese sauce mix, and milk to the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 8 minutes, stirring frequently. Then add peas and Parmesan cheese; cook, stirring, until peas are hot and cheese is melted, about 4 minutes. Top with bacon and serve. Serves 4
