  1. 1 pound spaghetti pasta

  2. 6 slices bacon

  3. 2 egg yolks

  4. 1/4 cup heavy cream

  5. 3 cloves garlic, minced

  6. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Meanwhile, cook the bacon in a heavy skillet until crisp. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels. Crumble bacon and set aside. Cook the pasta as directed on package. While the pasta is cooking, place the egg yolks, cream, and garlic in a medium bowl and beat until well blended. When the pasta is al dente, drain and immediately return to the pot. Stir in the egg mixture and toss thoroughly until combined. Add the bacon and cheese and toss again to coat. Serve immediately. Serves 4
